How
good are American Tanks?

Many have asked me, "Why tanks?" this is
part of the answer... Incredible pictures.

Greatest tank in the world! The entire crew survived!

Just wanted to share with y'all some pics of the
latest battle damaged tanks we just got word on. The good part is everyone
walked away from the tank ok "thank God!".

Here are the clean ones available, the hole was 6
inches in diameter and went through the right rear fuel cell and out the top of
the armor deck, while the site of the detonation (unknown amount of explosives
and as many as 10 artillery rounds including 1 WP..White Phosphorus) was
located under the plenum strangely it caused a bulge in the bow of the hull and
pinned the drivers head between the headrest and DVE (happened at night,
blacked out) The crew was able to evacuate and suffered no injuries, the fire
consumed the tank in under 1 minute and all ammo cooked off blowing off the
ammo bustle and ripping open the right rear of the turret side armor next to the
ammo door (these remained intact) There was no visible breach of the front turret
armor, but the tank did burn for over 12 hours.

One of our tanks took a bad IED hit here, tank burned
quickly and all ammo cooked off. I am
trying to provide facts to the officers out here that there is only DU armor in
the front 60 degrees of the turret ( there was no compromise up there) and not
the rear of the turret (which is now missing completely).

I left comments from various individuals as to the
report involving this IED hit on this tank in Iraq just this month. It is truly
incredible the crew got out...gives new meaning to the saying "MADE IN AMERICA".
